Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has further strengthened his position within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), emerging as the party’s central face ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Dhami recently participated in a public outreach campaign in Udham Singh Nagar to mark 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. The event drew significant political attention, particularly due to the presence of Gadarpur MLA Arvind Pandey, whose attendance helped dispel speculation about any differences between the Chief Minister and the senior BJP leader.
Political analysts in Uttarakhand view Pandey’s participation as a clear indication of party unity and Dhami’s growing influence within the BJP. The political message became even stronger when Chief Minister Dhami later visited Arvind Pandey’s residence, where he received a warm welcome from the MLA and his family. The interaction was widely seen as a display of cohesion within the party ranks.
Following the recent visit of BJP national leadership to Uttarakhand, including National President Nitin Nabin, party insiders believe that Dhami’s leadership has gained further endorsement.
